PILOT PROJECT - NATIVE STUDIES

5. SCHEDULING

DAILY ACTIVITIES: one hour

Each day during the KIHS Native Studies hour, do activities in the following order.

TIME ACTIVITY
1. 15 minutes Keyboarding program.
2. 10-15 minutes Reading notes on K-Net.
3. 30-35 minutes Work on the activity and assignment for the week.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

  1. On Monday, go on line to K-Net and check on the activities and assignments for the week.

  2. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
    • check for additional messages on K-Net;
    • ask questions or add to the online conversation;
    • work on your activity or assignment;

  3. On Friday, send your work to the Guest Teacher (Rocky).

SUGGESTED WEEKLY PLANNING:

After you have downloaded your assignment for the week, use a chart like the one that follows to plan and organize your time so that you will complete the work required by Friday.
